I was at my health club and I noticed a bottle of peanut powder, though I have given up peanuts a few months back I wished for something similar to add to my occasional protein shake.
Then it hit me, I have a big bag of almond flour in my refrigerator that could work the same way and much cheaper than the $10 they were trying to charge fro the little jar.
I had some worries about the shake becoming gritty but those fears were un warranted. The result was delicious and my new go to protein shake which I typical drink as a dessert when my calorie intake is a bit too low for the day.
